Captain’s log, J. Le Cam: " Black or white "

These past 24 hours have been either very white or very black. I sailed between Staten Island and the coast. It was nice at first, with a quiet sea and a speed of 26 knots because I was in a 4-knot current.. But then I got caught in a serious no-wind zone. But it started again this morning. I'm not sure I can catch up with the Englishman, though, but I'm not even looking, I'm focusing on my own race instead. If there's a chance, I'll definitely take it, but I'm not obsessed with it.

I've slept for two hours, which is not enough to recover from all the tough times in the Pacific Ocean these past two days. I'm 150 miles away from the Falkland Island. I hope I can get some rest once I've sailed past it. You can already tell it's getting warmer, and more pleasant!
