The day before yesterday, I had two little fears as the boat went to windward side with the A5. The broken rudder only works when the wind is steady, but when it blows too hard, the automatic pilot cannot control the boat. It is not very serious. When the boat went to windward side again I decided to reduce the speed a little.
I hope to keep the distance with those before me for the next 200-250 miles until the Cape Horn, because I believe things can change on the way back to the Sables d’Olonne.
