You're never completely sure when exactly the change from 2012 to 2013 is with the time and date difference and all… But what matters is to get to celebrate it! Bye bye 2012, hello 2013!
2012 hasn't been a bad year, it was actually full of interesting things. Let's say it's been complicated. I have a feeling 2013 will be easier.
I had a good New Year's Eve, better than Christmas, with easonably stable wind and a big manoeuvre that helped me digest the small bottle of champagne that unsurprisingly knocked me out a little bit. A little glass of champagne and duck foie gras, it just can't get any better.
So I wish you all an excellent and healthy new year. I feel so privileged to have such great friends, family and partner around me, supporting me throughout that crazy adventure we're currently living. Also, it's really nice to have people working to organise that kind of race and deranged people to participate! Thanks to their presence and their talent, they make it all worth it.
Once again, a big thank you to all of you and may 2013 be an unforgettable year!
