A record entry of twenty one IMOCAs will start the 40th anniversary Route du Rhum-Destination Guadeloupe Sunday 4th November. For many solo racers, this will be the first major solo transoceanic race of the new Vendée Globe quadrennial and it is also a great opportunity to qualify for the Vendée Globe.
