Captain’s Log – Tanguy de Lamotte: "I went at the end of the boom"

Hi,

Last night I entered the Pacific Ocean! I celebrated it with a glass of calvados watching "Aladdin."

I want to thank the Indian Ocean for letting me go and for all the beautiful days of surf through the waves along with the albatross…

There are fewer birds for a few days, I wonder why… I hope they are not angry.

I’ve been listening to a lot of music, for a few days. Since this morning, it’s Manu Chao:  I have 12 hours of his music.

Wind between 25 and 35 knots in the clouds with occasionally some rain. There are regular sun breakthroughs; it looks beautiful on the water. With 2 reefs and the small gennaker, I manage to sail easily.

I started reading "The Old Man and the Sea" by Hemingway in English, it's beautiful too!

And I went at the end of the boom to take pictures of the ocean and the boat with a different angle…

Have a good day,

Tanguy
