Among the 400 boats lining up at the start of the Rolex Fastnet Race on 6th August off Cowes (GB), seven 60-foot IMOCAs will be present with at their helm sailing double-handed some big names from the last Vendée Globe: Alex Thomson, Tanguy de Lamotte, Jean-Pierre Dick, Louis Burton, Yann Eliès and Arnaud Boissières will be racing against each other again. The British sailor, Sam Davies will be with Tanguy de Lamotte on Initiatives Coeur (Jérémie Beyou’s former Maître CoQ). The three foiling IMOCAs which came out out on top in the last Vendée Globe will be up against each other once again in the 2017 Fastnet Race.
