Stéphane Le Diraison is busy preparing to return to the IMOCA class. After a first successful attempt in 2016, and in spite of being forced to retire off Australia after dismasting, he wants to take part in the 2020 Vendée Globe aboard a more ambitious project. He wishes to compete in the 2018 Route du Rhum on his current boat (a Finot-Conq design from 2007), while building a brand new IMOCA.
