On Friday, the two boats on which Alessandro Di Benedetto sailed around the world will be in the Sables d'Olonne channel as the French-Italian skipepr finishes the race. The small 6.5-metre yacht on which he had sailed the Vendée Globe route in 268 days in 2009-2010 will be next to the 60-foot monohull Team Plastique as Di Benedetto sails through the channel after crossing the Vendée Globe finish line.
