Hello everyone,
Yesterday I could see Akena briefly. It’s the first thing I have seen since in the last two months beside whales, water and birds.
It was good to meet up with someone at these latitudes. On Sunday, I let Cali go before me so he could take a photo of Acciona. I also knew it would make him happy (it’s a joke!). He managed to come back on me because he had good weather conditions for the last ten days. He also has made good tactical decisions when I had a few issues on board… but I’m not making excuses.
Yesterday we spoke on the VHF and laugh together. I congratulated him on his progress but I hope he’ll stop now and he will let me take the lead once again….
The weather up to the Cape Horn doesn’t look too drastic and after it doesn’t look too bad neither… and then the lottery begins…
