I'm feeling great but I'm really annoyed at the lack of visibility. My current goal is to pass the Spaniard! I just had pumpkin and mushroom soup and worked a little on sails settings after the wind grew stronger and now I'm off to bed. I have 25 knots of wind and a sea that's not too bad, with a 2.5-metre swell.
I'm satisfied with my position compared to the Spaniard. As for Bernard Stamm, he is just flying! But I can't do anyting about it, so I'm just keeping an eye on him.
According to the routing, my ETA at Cape Horn is January 8th in the evening, but let's see if this is confirmed in the next few days.
It's very damp out there and I keep the cabin door half-open. It's 5°C outside!
I'm planning on opening a bottle of champagne to celebrate the New Year!
