We're starting to feel the time difference. When you went to bed last night, the sun was rising here in the rough Indian Ocean. Isn't that crazy?
Please keep track of how many times you see the sun rise and set, starting on November 10. I'll do the same and in the end, I'll have seen it rise and set once more than you. That's another good reason to choose to sail around the world from west to east, with the prevailing winds. The few sailors who tried it the other way aroud were punished: Sailig upwind through nightmarish days lasting more than 24 hours…
