Hello,
I've just gybed in 25 knots of wind and as I was going out to manoeuvre, I realised there was a very strong fish smell. And it was easy to understand why: There were micro-shrimps – between 5 and 10 mm – all over the deck. They're the whales' main source of food and I added some to my pasta, it was quite a nice treat.
That's the end of my biology lesson from the Indian Ocean!
