Mike Golding and his Gamesa sailed through the Crozet gate at 8.37AM (UTC) this Sunday morning, 38 minutes before Jean Le Cam on SynerCiel (9.15AM UTC). After 8,000 nautical miles covered since the start of the Vendée Globe, there is therefore only a 38-minute gap between the two sailors.
