Captain’s log, A. Boissières: " 43-knot gusts "

I’m really really happy as I knew there was something to be done last night and I had to hold on tight. So I did what had to be done, but reasonably. I manoeuvred a lot and I slept for 45 minutes only. It was very intense until 2AM and I had to be very careful because there were 43-knot gusts. I was pretty shaken on board and I went as fast as 27 knots. Then the wind got lighter. I’m very happy because I caught up with Javier a little bit. He’s still way ahead but a little less now. Everything is all right on board, I’m feeling great even though I’m a little tired this morning. I’m sailing towards the eastern part of the Aiguilles gate.
