Less than 500 miles from the Transat Jacques Vabre finish line in Itajaí PRB leads the IMOCA Open 60 class but the last few miles across the Bay of Rio de Janeiro will not be easy as they have to cross a stormy low pressure front. And 1500 miles behind them Class 40’s leaders are at the equator or passed it, whilst others are still dealing with the Doldrums.
