Out, out

Yesterday morning we could see small tell-tale trade wind clouds in the distance, in between squall clouds. The exit and deliverance so near yet just out of reach. Occasional zephyrs of SEwind bringing hope, only to be replaced by the standard 2 – 3 knots of miserable wind courtesy of enormous grey cloud masses, and more drifting around. It wasn’t until late afternoon that we made our escape through a narrow corridor between two cumulomonsters, to the safety of small fluffy trade wind clouds lit up in the last of the sunlight.
