It's been crazy on board, with solid wind shaking the boat pretty hard. My current speed is 18.8 knots, it feels great to go faster. I've been tacting gear to optimise the speed of Virbac Paprec 3. The night has been agitated and I had to sail under heavy showers, which means I had to be out there on the deck, fully awake. The wind can go as fast as 30 knots so what truly matters to me is to sail faster than the boats close to me so I can get closer to the leaders. Those big changes in temperature are not ideal for food, especially cheese and dried meat. Yesterday, I had some sweet cheese that made me sick. I'm glad I have freeze-dried food left!
