Nice to have some wind and be doing miles in the right direction. Perhaps we'll even make it the Indian Ocean before the end of the year! Our group is racing along the top of a vast low, the centre of which is several hundred miles to the south, somewhere in Antarctica. There are often dozens of small birds following the boat - perhaps the wake makes hunting easier?
