German skipper Boris Herrmann is in a perfect position when it comes to his plans for the 2020 Vendée Globe. He may not be set to start his first attempt at the non-stop solo round the world race armed with a brand new, latest generation boat, but his goal is to be on the start with the most reliable boat. He will have sailed more miles on his boat than most of the other skippers will have managed on theirs.
