You never know. Maybe among their ranks right now are future winners of the Vendée Globe. It does stand to reason when you consider that so many skippers made their names in the Mini, in La Solitaire du Figaro and in Class40. They say that doing the Vendée Globe is about having a dream that won’t go away, that becomes such an obsession it has to be fulfilled. But for some others it is a step too far…..
