After almost two days at sea – and with less than 1,000 miles remaining in total – just eight miles split the seven crews. Tensions are high but for Team Brunel, MAPFRE and Dongfeng Race Team, everything is at stake. Read the latest story from our editorial team here

As we watch the fleet with an overwhelming sense of anticipation, turns out that's exactly what winning skipper of the last Volvo Ocean Race, Ian Walker, is doing too. Take a look at his tweet below.
