It was a verrrrrrry slow start for the Volvo Ocean Race fleet in Cardiff as a high-pressure system brought bright sunny skies and warm weather but very little breeze to the start of Leg 10.

Full of frustration and anticipation the driftathon was one to remember, here is the start of Leg 10 in just 65 seconds.

Despite the slow start, Professional Snowboarder Travis Rice certainly caused a stir by somersaulting off the first spreader of Dongfeng. You can watch the video on our Twitter channel below.

Short, intense, strategic and complicated – with the scores so close, Leg 10 is going to be epic. Here's what the skippers had to say ahead of the most crucial leg yet.

Since leaving the Welsh capital city Cardiff on Sunday the fleet has been dogged by fickle breeze, covering less than 250 miles at speeds of no more than 10 knots. To catch up on all the action, watch today's Live Show with Niall Myant-Best and Conrad Colman in Race HQ in Alicante.
