Hi,
After a great day spent sailing at 16 knots, I was lucky enough to enjoy a beautiful sunset. If you look at the picture, it's hard to tell if these are Pacific waves or mountains in the Alps.
I had troubles sleeping last night, which is quite unusual for me, and I realised the moon was watching me through the window… It was perfectly full and in the right position for me to see it from my bed. I looked at it for quite a while and then I fell asleep.
The weather was really nice this morning but there is a depression coming from behind so I'm getting ready for several days of stronger wind as I sail south of New Zealand.
I talked to Nick Moloney who competed in the 2004 Vendée Globe and who lives in Melbourne with his family. It was great to know we weren't that far away from each other and to get an encouraging message from a skipper. It was very nice and it makes me feel better for the rest of the race!
Have a great day, you all,
Tang (51°51S and 158°26E).
