The teams have been racing for just over 5 days with another estimated 10 excruciating days in the Southern Ocean to go. There's one important thing to remember about this leg and that is it’s a double points leg, and there’s a bonus point for the first boat to pass Cape Horn. So there are enough points at stake for teams to be mathematically out of contention by Brazil... Brush up on your point scoring knowledge with this article.

In this video shot by Onboard Reporter Martin Keruzore onboard Dongfeng, young sailor Jack Bouttell tells us about an injury he sustained when he was thrown around by a gigantic wave. A good video that gives us a rare insight into life as a bowman.
