After nearly 50 day, or seven solid weeks at sea, bodies and minds are not just tired but very fatigued. Some soloists have recently been admitting they have fallen unexpectedly into deep, sustained sleep. Yesterday it was Tanguy De Lamotte and today it was Jean Le Cam. But many solo racers can rely on their experience and knowledge of their own bodies to avoid this plunge into the red zone.
