Captain’s log, A. Boissières: " Super unstable boat "

Hi all,

Here's how my night went. The sky is quite clear and there's been heavy rain ad a lot of wind – 22-28 knots – with 42-knot gusts and cross sea with 5-7-metre waves. Basically, a pretty complicated ight.

Result:
Speed of my super unstable boat: between 11 ad 22 knots. I'm wearing a fleece top, my winter hat and I have a glove drying in the dressing room (the engine room, actually) and some manoeuvres and sail changes to exercise!

My reward:
A good hot coffee I'll sip on my terrasse, under the veranda… That is, if the winds gods and the waves allow it, of course.

I'm 544 miles away from the Australian gate. If I see a kangaroo, I'll definitely make a video!

I'm keeping an eye on what's going on for the skipper ahead of me in terms of weather and strategy…

Bom  dia
