It's been a complicated night and it shouldn't get any better today as a front is coming our direction and should be here in a few hours. The wind will turn, which will make for a cross sea and an unstable breeze. I'll have to deal with all that on Virbac-Paprec 3 and I'm sure I'll spend a lot of time out there on the deck. Then we should be able to go down fast to the West Australia gate, and then the East one. In my first Vendée Globe, I remember sailing through a storm as I was leaving the Indian Ocean, with winds over 60 knots! I'm always very cautious in that area…
