Shortly after Jérémie Béyou, Samantha Davies and Savéol have also arrived in Port Olona on Sunday afternoon.
After her dismasting on November 15, the British yachtswoman had reached Funchal, Madeira and then Cascais, where Sam and Savéol's boat captain Erwan Lemeilleur had equipped the monuhull with a jury rig before sailing back to France.
“It’s so heart-warming! I wasn’t expecting so many people, thank you all. And also, thank you for all the messages I’ve received since my dismasting. I’m really impressed with the enthusiasm and solidarity around me. It all started in Madeira, where there was a press boat greeting me when I arrived", she explained.
