Hi all,
It's hard to take pictures of those albatrosses, they keep moving, but they're so classy! Every time I see one, it reminds me of the albatross in "Bernard and Bianca", but that was definitely the Hollywood version…
I have a lot of respect for this albatross, it has circled my veranda a couple of times, checked the sails settings and then flew away. I've lost sight of the others, but not thisone. I've entered its territory so I watch it but I try not to disturb it. I know this one will be backave been too violent…
Right now the conditions are a little funny. We surf, and then no more surf. There's wind, and then no more wind. It's going to be a nice night, and a very busy one at that. I'll have my albatross watching eveything like an expert would. I'll be wondering what he thinks. Is south better than north? I'm not sure it cares, it just glides and that's it. And why should it care, he's seen other birds like me! I've just checked and it's still there, as if it knew I'm talking about it.
Take care,
Arnaud.
P.S. This albatross is not going to the Paris Nautic Show, it is staying with me in the warm south.
