And with the 2000hrs evening ranking Bernard Stamm and Pierre Legros take over at the top of the IMOCA Open 60 standings to ensure now that all five of the latest generation boats have lead at one stage or another. The top five are still only separated by 40 miles.
In the Class 40s the gap the two leaders have opened is now over 100 miles although the winds have filled in now for most of the top 15 or so boats and the race is back on. Alex Pella and Pablo Santurde are going well in sixth, second to fastest Class 40 on Tales Santander 2014.
