For those crossing the Bay of Biscay the wind drops and with it the NW’ly sea conditions improve for some competitors. For those further to the south
there is a first taste of the tradewinds.

The duel continues on the south side of the anticyclone in NE’ly winds of 12/18 knots. They are expected to gybe and south to the islands of Cape Verde, taking care – as usual – not to get too close to the islands !
