When Alessandro di Benedetto finished his first Vendée Globe solo round the world race on 22nd February this year after 104 days 2hours 34 minutes and 30 seconds he had little or no appetite to make a return to an ocean race course on his IMOCA Open 60 Team Plastique. Completing the race meant he had reached his goal.
