Since yesterday evening, the boat reaches real speeds, peaking at over 24 knots. I had to adapt gradually my sails to the wind and the sea. But it helps us to make good slides. This sustained wind symbolically marks the entry of Akena in the Southern Seas.
My father pointed out in an email this morning that I am not far from the geographical position four years ago!
I'll try to keep this steady stream as long as possible…
It's cold onboard but the human body gradually gets used to it.
Inside, it is difficult to stand without holding on but it's funny. It's like being in the subway!
