Captain’s log, T. de Lamotte: " Enjoy those moments at sea "

Hey hey hey,

What a great starry night, very pleasant even though we lost a few degrees in temperature. I had to put on my fleece top and thicker socks last night…

I saw a plane in the sky and said to myself the passengers don't even realise how fast they're travelling, they'll reach the Antilles effortlessly in six hours… I'm not saying everybody should travel by boat but I'm really glad I am. Also, it would be great to develop more environement-friendly mass transportation that don't pollute that much…

I also sailed across a cruise ship coming back to Europe, which does pollute less, but I just don't think I'd like that kind of vacation…

I'm having coffee on my terrasse this morning, looking at the rising sun and the wake of my boat as I'm sliding on the Atlantic Ocean on my way home. It's great to see tha waves come and go and to feel we're getting closer to home. It seems to go so fast! I still have 1,500 miles to go until I reach Les Sables d'Olonne and 150 miles to go to the Flores Island, in the Azores. I should get there in the afternoon.

I truly hope to see you all this week-end and in the meantime, i'm enjoying these beautiful moments at sea.

Have a good Monday, and please keep clicking. Thanks!

Tanguy.
