Jean le Cam, currently ranked 5th, is currently approaching the Azores and he is planning on arriving in les Sables d'Olonne on February 5th.
" I've used the routing softwares to know what the best way to go through the high pressure area blocking our way is. it's our next tricky obstacle, we just can't fail. Last night, I slept like never before, we're so exhausted that whenever you can get some sleep, you can immediately feel the difference. My routing has me finishing the race on the 5th but so many things can change in the meantime. But so far, it looks like we can all have a nice drink together on Tuesday night. The final stretch will probably be rough, with 30-knot wind off Les Sables d'Olonne. "
