I’m glad to be back, glad to have been able to sail through the channel tonight, I wouldn’t have liked to get stuck. My first reward is to have the public welcome me in Les Sables d'Olonne. Last night was difficult, the conditions were terrible but this morning it was better, so I checked the boat, making sure everything was ok.
The rhythm of the race was much more intense this time, compared to four years ago. Back then, I hadn’t done too well in the Southern Ocean. I did better this time, I sailed ten days faster, and the tough fight with François is precisely what I competed in this race for. I think the key moment was when we were off the coast of Brazil.
