Mirabaud crosses Equator


Dominique Wavre, who is currently 2,725.6 miles behind the leader in the 9AM rankings on Saturday, is the seventh Vendée Globe skipper to come back in the northern hemisphere. The Swiss skipper and his Mirabaud monohull crossed the Equator on Saturday at 7h44’37’’ UTC (8h44’37’’, French time) after 76 days, 19 hours, 42 minutes and 37 seconds at sea.
