Dominique Wavre is arguably the most experienced sailor in the Vendée Globe fleet as the Mirabaud skipper has been sailing around the wolrd for years and he has seen changes happening, especially when it comes to on board videos. They are an extra task the Swiss does not seem to mind.
« We do have to shoot videos but I don't see that as an unpleasant obligation. I see it as something that is a real part of our job as skippers. Being able to compete in such a race is a privilege and it is great to be able to share what we see and experience with the public. I truly enjoy shooting pictures and videos and tell people about my daily life on board. I do it so naturally and I hope the public likes it and find our stories exotic ».
