I'm sincerely sorry to hear Jean-Pierre lost his keel. It's very frustrating to be stopped like that, so close to the finish line, after all those miles… Jean-Pierre had had a terrific race until now, and he had already faced techical issues he had managed to successfully deal with.
To me, before the start, Jean-Pierre was among the top favourites, if not the top one. He and his team didn't deserve that. I wish them a lot of courage for the rest of the race and, if need be, I want them to know I may be far behind, but I'm still coming their way and I'm no longer officially in the race…
