Hey hey hey!
I had a cold shower yesterday, but in the sun; I had been looking forward to cleaning up for days, it feels great! Then it will be time to clean up the boat…
I left the roaring forties behind this morning but I still have company: A large white albatross with huge dark wings is following the boat. Last night I hoisted the gennaker but then the wind got stronger so I rolled it up. Then I gybed, the wind turned, and so I gybed again. I ended up under solent because, with the waves direction, my damaged rudder is not that efficient.
This morning, as I was taking the hydrogenerator down in the water to charge the batteries, I saw a pink fishing net buoy 20 metres away, it was weird to see something so colourful in the water… I'm glad there was no actual net around.
I'm feeling good because I slept well this morning, which was a nice change. The sun is coming and the pressure is growing stronger…
