Part 2 : the first big one
On Saturday 3rd August, the Rolex Fastnet Race fleet will set sail from in front of the Royal Yacht Squadron in Cowes to sail 600 miles up to the Fastnet Rock at the SW tip of Ireland before finishing in Plymouth Sound. For some of the Vendée Globe hopefuls, the Fastnet Race will be an opportunity to finally get things moving.
