As the Volvo Ocean Race fleet cross into the northern hemisphere for the fourth and final time, it's a full blown battle between the teams. Read more here.

Entering the second week of the leg, it's MAPFRE who have been down on luck after suffering extensive electrical problems onboard. Watch the video below about how it has affected the crew so far. 

The newest member of Sun Hung Kai/Scallywag, Pete Cumming, is getting used to the daily grind of working a Volvo Ocean 65, captured in this picture by Rich Edwards.

Famous for his navigational skills, Vestas 11th Hour Racing's navigator Simon Fisher is shown on deck with his equipment, no doubt predicting how the team can keep the lead.

There are many traditions the crew like to execute when it's a sailors first time crossing the equator but Brunel's Nina Curtis is terrified of one of them... Can you guess which one? 

We're loving this video from Jeremie Lecaudey onboard Dongfeng Race Team. He's managed to get the best side out of French (occassionally moody) navigator Pascal Bidegorry and it's hilarious.
