It’s taken a good 24 hours for the crews to get their sea legs back but as you can see from these wet weather pictures, they’re now having copious amounts of fun…

Meanwhile, down below deck on team AkzoNobel all is well as sailor Emily Nagel takes a dig at kiwi Onboard Reporter James Blake for ‘working from home’. You can follow Emily on Twitter here: @EmilyNagel94

He’s been struggling with seasickness for the past day but Onboard Reporter Sam Greenfield is back up and running with this great update from Turn the Tide on Plastic where we see Bianca Cook clean up an explosion of rice after she took a tumble in the galley. Watch it here.

Don’t forget, this is a double-point scoring leg with a bonus point for whichever team round Cape Horn first. Here’s Antonio Fontes onboard Team SHK/Scallywag checking when that will be:

And just in case you’ve missed it - check out these incredible videos that look back on each Volvo Ocean Race leg so far in full.

That’s all for today but keep an eye on raw.volvooceanrace.com for more brilliant content in real time from the boats as they hit the Southern Ocean in full throttle.
