24 Hours In

With around 24 hours of racing since the start of the Transat Jacques Vabre the fleet was spread more than 130 miles from the leading MOD70’s which were opening the course off the Raz de Sein and the Class 40 EcoElec which was passing Guernsey. The SW’ly wind was progressively strengthening but the 26 Class 40’s should already be moored up in Roscoff.

Meteo France confirmed that the strong winds expected in the Bay of Biscay and off Cape Finisterre are still expected. That keeps the pressure on the MOD70’s to make maximum speed down the track.
