On his Initiatives-coeur monohull, Tanguy de Lamotte is currently 105 nautical miles away from Les Sables d'Olonne and the 2012-2013 Vendée Globe finish line, which he is expected to cross on Sunday morning, between 9 and 10AM (French time).
If he makes it before 11AM, the French skipper will be able to immediately sail through the canal to the Port Olona pontoons. If he arrives later, he will have to wait until the end of the afternoon for the tide to allow him to access the canal again.
