Gamesa is still 88 miles away from her goal, progressing at 14 knots. Mike Golding should therefore cross the Vendée Globe finish line around 7.30PM but he may have to slow down as the tide will not allow him to reach the Sables d'Olonne port before 10.40 on Wednesday night.
